Texaco Country Club, formerly camp Beaty, was chartered under Subdivision 65 of Article 1121 of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas of 1911, on August 22, 1924, for the purpose of establishing and maintaining the following:

	a recreational club
	the protection, preservation and propagation of fish and game
	the purchase and ownership, by fee or leasehold titles, of such lands and bodies of water as may be desirable in connection therewith, and the erection of suitable improvements thereon

The management of said Club is entrusted to a Board of Directors elected as provided for in the club by-laws.
